Notice of Employment under Section 211



2019-2020 School Year
 
On June 12, 2019, the Syracuse City School District Board of Education appointed Brian Nolan as the Independent Monitor for Syracuse STEM @ Blodgett on a contract not to exceed $100,300.  In accordance with Section 211 of Retirement and Social Security Law and Sec. 80-5.5 of Commissioner's Regulations, Mr. Nolan has the right to receive a pension while so employed.

On August 14, 2019, the Syracuse City School District Board of Education appointed the following individuals:

Thomas J. Ristoff, Jr., as the Director of School Safety & Security at an annual  salary of $98,894.  In accordance with Section 211 of Retirement and Social Security Law and Sec. 80-5.5 of Commissioner's Regulations, Mr. Ristoff has the right to receive a pension while so employed;
 
Michael Thompson, as the Assistant Director of School Safety & Security at an annual salary of $73,185.  In accordance with Section 211 of Retirement and Social Security Law and Sec. 80-5.5 of Commissioner's Regulations, Mr. Thompason has the right to receive a pension while so employed;
 
Geno Turo, as the Law Enrocement Instructor at the Public Service Leadership Academy at an annual salary of $78,180.  In accordance with Section 211 of Retirement and Social Security Law and Sec. 80-5.5 of Commissioner's Regulations, Mr. Turo has the right to receive a pension while so employed.

On October 9, 2019, the Syracuse City School District Board of Education appointed Terrence McGinn as the Forensic Science CTE Teacher at Syracuse STEM at Blodgett at an annual salary of $48,500.  In accordance with Section 211 of Retirement and Social Security Law and Sec. 80-5.5 of Commissioner's Regulations, Mr. McGinn has the right to receive a pension while so employed.
